Steamboat Scenic Gondola Ride

The Steamboat Gondola operates in both the summer and winter seasons.

In winter, skiers and snowboarders are transported from the base of the ski resort up the mountain.

From here, visitors can enjoy the incredible skiing terrain on offer at the Steamboat Resort.

But a ride on the gondola is not limited to skiers and snowboarders.

A scenic gondola ticket is an alternative option for all visitors in both summer and winter.

A popular attraction at the resort that provides visitors with incredible views of Mt. Werner and the Yampa Valley.

Once at the top you can get out and hike or just enjoy the views from the balcony of the restaurant up top.

This is a definite must-see while in Steamboat over the summer.

We rode the gondola during our summer trip this year with the family. Even thought it was a little pricey for each person… it had amazing views of the mountain and the valley.

When you get to the top you are able to sit and eat in the restaurant to take in the views and you can hike around too.
